The Opportunity
As a Feature Activation Specialist at Phorest, you will play a critical role in helping salons unlock value from their software package by activating and implementing key features in a timely and effective manner. You’ll take ownership of building, updating, and managing custom salon apps for both new and existing clients. A key part of your role involves proactively reaching out to clients to gather the information needed for app setup.
You’ll also support salons in getting started with tools like Phorest Ads Manager, guiding them through setup and resolving any issues that arise. Whether it's launching a branded app or enabling a new feature, you’ll ensure each client gets the most out of their Phorest experience. This role blends technical precision, proactive communication, and a strong customer-first mindset to drive meaningful results for salon businesses.
What You'll Do
Branded App Activation & Support
Assist with the end-to-end activation process for Phorest’s Salon Branded App, ensuring a smooth and efficient client experience.
Proactively reach out to clients to assist with the initial setup, in particular the Apple developer account setup to ensure the app can go live in a timely manner.
Along with the initial setup, assist with the app build, training, launch, and ongoing adoption of branded app features and benefits.
Manage internal requirements for branded app setup, including liaising with relevant departments to ensure timely delivery.
Manage the app query ticketing system, handling daily support requests and ensuring resolution targets and KPIs are met each day and week.
Provide consultation on hardware requirements for clients to optimise their branded app functionality.
Work closely with the Package Specialist team, supporting them with hardware needs and branded app setup.
Monitor, review, and report on Salon Branded App adoption metrics, identifying opportunities for improvement.
Collaborate with the Product team to identify opportunities to streamline app creation and reduce manual overhead.
Ads Manager Activation & Meta Issue Resolution
Provide troubleshooting and resolution for any issues related to Ads Manager setup, account verification, or campaign execution.
Serve as the primary point of contact for Meta-related escalations, working with internal teams and external partners to resolve issues.
Track, analyze, and report on the performance of Ads Manager activations, identifying common pain points and working with teams to enhance the onboarding experience.
Collaborate with Phorest’s Product & Engineering teams to relay client feedback and suggest enhancements for Ads Manager usability.
While your primary focus will be on the features listed above, you may also be involved in other areas or new feature development as needs arise.
Who You Are
2+ years of experience in customer onboarding, technical support, or activation in a SaaS or digital marketing environment.
Familiarity with Meta Business Suite, Facebook Ads Manager, and social media marketing processes.
Strong technical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot software and hardware issues.
Excellent communication skills (verbal and written), with a focus on customer education and support.
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining high levels of accuracy and attention to detail.
Experience working cross-functionally with Sales, Support, and Product teams to optimize client experiences.
A proactive problem-solver with a customer-first mindset.
Previous experience in the salon or beauty industry is a plus but not required.
