Sales Enablement Specialist

Phorest is the number 1 salon software brand for premium independent salons in those markets and our next goal is to become a platform upon which other companies can build applications for premium salons.
Our system touches every point of the salon experience. We have the in-salon software desktop application, Phorest Go (the native staff application), online bookings website for salons, and custom native apps per salon. In a typical month, Phorest processes 3 million appointments and we send over 3 million SMS and 4 million emails. We process 200k online bookings per month and over 150 custom built white label native apps.
The Opportunity
We are looking for a Sales Enablement Specialist to join our global Demand Generation team and play a key role in supporting all our regional teams to deliver on their sales goals. You will be responsible for helping Phorest generate buzz and excitement amongst our sales prospects, helping us to close more deals and reduce the time to sign up.
You’ll work with the regional sales teams to identify key selling points for our products within each target market, and partner with the marketing team and other internal stakeholders to deliver the content, tools and insights that help us land our message most effectively.
What you’ll do:
You will be the go-to person on sales enablement and product training, working with Marketing, Product and Sales teams both globally and regionally.
The Sales Teams
- Knowledge Sharing and Meetups:
Ensure there are adequate in person meetups regionally for sales teams to maintain their connection to the company, the product and for team building.
Coordinate regular knowledge sharing sessions between regional sales teams, providing a forum to share best practices, successes and challenges across the organisation.
- Product Launches and USP Messaging:
Work with Product and Marketing teams to ensure that they collaborate with Sales Teams regionally to articulate and form the key messaging and unique selling points needed for new Product and Feature launches.
Ensure that Sales team input into these things has been documented and actioned for all new product launches.
Ensure that key messaging and USPS are fully understood by Sales Teams at point of launch.
- Sales Blockers
Share feedback from sales reps around product blockers and other objections back to Product and Marketing teams
- Co-ordinate Sales Coaching
Review demos across all regions to ensure product messaging is being accurately delivered to prospects
Establish proof points across all features and target segments and support the Sales teams in how to use these to close more sales
Organise appropriate sales coaching from internal or external providers as required.
Systems and Process
- Demo Accounts
Work with the Product team to ensure all sales teams are set up with high quality demo accounts, custom built for each target market (Regions + Verticals)
Ensure demo accounts are maintained with real-time data to continually showcase our product features in the most compelling way
- Sales Collateral
Develop presentation decks and other marketing materials for pitching to prospects or potential partners, and support sales teams with custom built assets and messaging for high-value premium prospects
Organise and maintain all sales collateral for access by the sales teams
- Systems
Work with all regional sales teams to ensure we are maximising our usage of sales systems such as Outreach and Salesforce
Ensure both inbound and outbound Outreach sales sequences are optimised to deliver the ideal message and information for each prospect at each stage of the sales cycle
Support Sales leadership in evaluating new tools that can enable improved sales performance and be a key stakeholder in implementation
- Sales Journey
Work with operational teams to ensure that the prospect journey from lead to go live (including the quote process) is smooth and optimised at each stage; identify any friction points and simplify processes
What you’ll need:
A proven track record of working with Sales teams in a SaaS/technology business, in sales enablement or sales training/support roles
Excellent understanding of the role that software plays in everyday salon operations, and how the Phorest product solves salon pain points
Strong understanding of the sales process and the role sales enablement can play in driving sales performance
A natural ability to identify pain points of target customers and then deliver solutions through sales enablement content
Strong communication skills: you’ll work very closely with sales and marketing teams across the business, as well as with other internal stakeholders at a regional and global level
Ability to ensure execution is driven in the regions whilst at the same time maintaining a strategic vision and defining/defending Phorest value proposition.
Analytical skills to interpret sales metrics, make recommendations on how to improve the sales process and evaluate sales enablement initiatives
Target-driven and proven self-starter with the ability to deliver on targets.
Creative thinker, particularly in the area of consumer needs.
Experience of implementing or working with sales software such as Outreach, Salesforce, Gong, etc. is desirable
Salon industry or salon software experience is a big advantage
