The Opportunity
Phorest powers over 9,000 hair and beauty salons using our software across the globe. Our aim is to capture 25% of the market globally – that’s one million salons and a billion-dollar company.
We are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented General Administrator to join our team. You will be responsible for supporting the day-to-day operations of our office, including a wide variety of administrative tasks and collaborating with various teams across Phorest.
The successful candidate will have great communication and interpersonal abilities, strong organisational and time management skills, and the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively. What you will do
Provide administrative support to various departments in Phorest (Finance, People, Marketing & the EA team) with file management, data entry, assisting with campaigns or events, and other ad-hoc admin tasks.
Front desk duties (welcoming people, managing office-related queries).
Manage inbound and outbound post, including couriers and deliveries, as well as route correspondence to the appropriate people.
Assist with various office management duties (i.e., taking inventory and replacing office supplies when necessary, etc).
Provide cover for the Office Manager during absences & breaks.
Ad hoc admin support for projects and during company events.
Book travel, taxis, etc, when necessary.
What you bring
1+ years of professional experience in an office environment
Strong organisational skills
Attention to detail
Ability to multitask and prioritise tasks effectively
A proactive mindset
Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
A team spirit
Good knowledge of Google Suite or MS Office
