The Opportunity

We are looking for someone who is passionate about driving Phorest’s recurring revenue growth.

As a Business Analyst, you will be involved in both internal and client facing projects and entrusted to collect, analyse and interpret data from a variety of sources, providing best in class commercial analysis and insight into all of Phorest’s revenue streams. You will measure performance against a defined set of KPI’s and work with teams across the business to drive commercial success.

Finally, you will work with both a close-knit commercial team and other internal stakeholders to drive best practice and deliver growth for the business.

The Specifics

• Help define easily understandable, actionable KPIs through which business performance can be measured

• Provide weekly and monthly analysis and actionable insight to the Recurring Revenue team

• Be a trusted advisor to Country managers and senior management

• Liaise with and assist support, customer success and sales teams when releasing new features or implementing new processes to ensure their success

• Become an expert in all revenue streams to assist with queries from Phorest employees and clients

• Provide analysis support on ad-hoc projects, new initiatives and strategic business decisions

• Work closely with our Product team to ensure that all product pitches include appropriate consideration for impact on Recurring Revenue

• Using market and/or internal data, make product/financial recommendations to help meet or exceed our commercial targets

• Periodically review our customer facing terms and conditions for completeness and appropriateness. Liaise with our product and finance teams to incorporate any required amendments.

What do you need?

• 3+ years experience in a Business Analyst or similar role

• Highly skilled in Google Sheets & Slides or Microsoft equivalent. Knowledge of SQL is preferred but not required

• Experience of using data visualisation tools such as Looker preferred but not required

• High attention to detail coupled with strong numerical skills

• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

• Ability to work independently and proactively in a fast-paced environment

• A genuine interest in the hair and beauty industry

• Creative thinker and problem solver.

• Self-starter, who can take the initiative to work independently and solve problems, whilst maintaining a high standard of work
