The Opportunity
The Event Sales role is an exciting Account Executive level opportunity on the PR & Events Team (part of the Phorest Global Marketing Team) for a competitive and driven salesperson with an interest in sales & marketing.
Your main responsibility will be selling tickets to our flagship events, with the opportunity to grow into selling sponsorship opportunities too. We hold an annual conference, the Salon Owners Summit, which has become one of the most prestigious events in the industry, as well as events in both the UK and USA for our members and non-members. Over the year, we aim to delight hundreds of attendees with world-class speaker lineups, trend-driven salon events and product launches. And this is where you come in.
What you will do
- Proactively conduct sales calls to our clients across regions to sell tickets to the Salon Owners Summit 2023, with the goal of selling out the event
- Support the Event lead for Salon Owners Summit 2023, Phorests’ flagship customer event that will take place in January 2023 in Dublin.
- Fully immerse yourself in this event, what value it offers to attendees and the best ways to engage with clients and sell the event experience.
- Be reactive at speed to client interest and questions around the Salon Owners Summit
- Support the marketing team on the marketing communications campaign for the success of the Summit
- As our flagship event is exclusively available to clients of Phorest Salon Software, building strong relationships and showcasing the value of the event to their business, rather than a hard sales strategy is required, with a massive focus on serving our clients first
- Report weekly to the Event lead on sales progress, highlighting feedback and barriers to enable us to track sales and react quickly
