People Ops/HR Business Partner for North America

What you will do
- Be a trusted partner and support managers, team leaders and your peers in creating a great place to work for people at Phorest
- Work with functions in the region and be the first point of contact for day-to-day people related queries
- Partner with the relevant manager/team leader and the global people function to implement people initiatives and solutions and to feed into the development of global strategies and initiatives
- Assist with workforce planning for the region and partner with managers and the recruitment team to identify hiring needs and find the best talent for the positions
- Help hiring managers build out their teams, manage the local recruitment needs and activities
- Manage the employee onboarding and offboarding process locally
- Support managers and team leads with employee engagement and ensure engagement survey results are communicated on a regular basis
- Partner with managers/team leaders to retain, develop and motivate people
- Proactively identify sustainable and scalable solutions to issues
- Coach managers through people-related issues, support the functions with performance management, salary reviews and 360 feedback
- Assist with reporting and use data to inform management decisions, identify opportunities and trends
- Ensure that necessary documentation and information is accessible to the functions
- Identify and flag people risks to managers and team leads
- Develop local strategies and initiatives to support the growth of Phorest in the North American region and ensure our people are engaged and developed to meet their potential
- Partner and work with the Country Manager for North America on relevant projects to help grow the business and team
- Manage HR systems locally (Justworks) and assist with the administration of local employee benefits
- Assist with payroll prep for the team in the region
Who you are
- You have a track record of strong business partnerships within a dynamic, fast-paced, environment, ideally in a SaaS business
- You take initiative and ownership
- You have extensive experience in Human Resources / People Operations and working cross-functionally with all areas of HR
- You are a self-starter with a creative mind and track record of putting ideas into practice and assessing the results
- You have a history of cross-functional collaboration and adapting global strategies at a local/regional level
- You are a down to earth and engaging teammate; you have integrity, are assertive, and easily build trust with people; you are curious and make sure to keep up to date with the latest HR and business trends
- You have a degree in Human Resources
- Ideally, you are located in Philadelphia to enable you to work closely with the County Manager, however, we can be flexible for the right person
