The Opportunity

Quality is critical within the company to ensure customer satisfaction and retention, driving growth, and helping clients extract maximum value from our products.

We are growing fast and would like to add a new experienced member to the QA group. You will join a small group of highly skilled engineers in building exciting new features and extending our platform. Given we are a small team of engineers, you will have autonomy and control to shape our product vision without bureaucracy or politics.

You will be a key member in the Mobile team, automating test suits and bulletproofing the future of our multi-tenant SAAS platform.

What you’ll do

• Be hands on testing new features and performing regression tests for various services

  • Design, develop and execute both manual and automated tests to verify the functionality of the system

  • Develop regression automated test suites

  • Identify, report and track issues to resolution

  • Help developers reproduce errors, and ensure that defects are fixed

• Be a member of multifunctional scrum teams, working closely with POs, designers and developers with "shift left" approach

  • Participate in scrum gatherings for team’s projects

  • Not afraid to be responsible for signing off the feature to be released

  • Analyze features during the design and development process to point out weaknesses or ambiguities

  • Create/review stories, bugs and test documents

• Be an automation quality advocate and lifetime learner

• Interested in testing automation and want to improve further in that field

• Never stop learning, pursue latest technologies, seek for best solutions

• Challenge the norm and won’t be afraid to voice your opinions

• Eager to find better solutions and capable to spike and implement it

What we’re looking for

• 2+ years automation testing experience using scripting languages like javascript / python

• Excellent manual testing skills and out-of-the-box adhoc testing skills

• Experience with Mobile testing including automation for native mobile apps (we build cross platform apps with react native)

• Excellent knowledge of testing methodologies and testing documents

• Experience working in multifunctional teams in a scrum environment

• Excellent skills for testing web based applications and how to locate any element on the page

• Knowledge of relational and nosql databases

• Good writing skills

• Good communication skills

• Curious mindset

Nice to Have

• Experience with microservices and distributed architectures and knowledge of how you can test them

• We use Cypress and Appium here as automation tools so if you have experience with either that's a plus

• Knowledge of CI/CD process and how testing can be brought in there

• Github experience

• Performance and security testing experience or interest
